					<description>You know, I long ago left the church and lost sympathy with its straitened, orthodox approach to many areas of life. But what Wolff is doing here is just the latest incarnation of a grand old American tradition of Catholic-hating. Oh, yeah--I do take some personal offense, too. I had four uncles who were priests and who were models in their lives not only of human weakness but also of profound personal integrity. Wolff's "commentary"--it really shouldn't be dignified with that term--is vile, slanderous, and the product of a shocking ignorance for someone as putatively smart as he is.</description>
